Not just energy savings: report on the application at the ham factory FONTANA
The improvement in the energy balance and the reduction in the running costs of systems represent very important aspects for commercial operations, and especially for supermarkets.
In an age of increasing environmental awareness, with energy becoming an increasingly hot topic, CAREL proposes Energy2, a panel-mounted microprocessor controller that keeps "energy under control".
Versatility and the vast range of applications (supermarkets, shops, companies, factories, stores, etc.) are the main features of this new product.
One of the first installations with Energy2 was developed at Attilio Fontana Prosciutti s.a.s. in Montagnana (Padova) which has adopted CAREL solutions for the control and monitoring of the salting, resting and curing areas, as well as the monitoring and the management of power consumption.
Among the main benefits produced: tangible energy savings, improved efficiency of the installation, optimised management of power consumption, no change in tariffs, timely response thanks to the GSM network, the logging and monitoring of power consumption.
