Fifty new trees to celebrate CAREL’s fifty years

CAREL ends its year of celebrations and the "50 for Winning" contest by planting 50 new trees, one for every year the Group has been in business. The contest, organised as part of the Group’s fiftieth anniversary and open from 16 October to 4 December, offered a tree to be planted for each day of the contest. Fifty lucky winners were drawn from the participants who correctly answered the 10 questions on CAREL’s history, and each of the was assigned a new tree, donated to the planet via the Treedom platform.

The Treedom portal opened in Florence in 2010, and since then has helped plant more than 4,000,000 new trees in Africa, Latin America, Asia and Italy. Each winner can follow the growth of their tree, transparent evidence vision of the positive environmental impact generated by every action.

The initiative, conceived by CAREL to celebrate the Group's 50th anniversary in the name of sustainability, aims to make a tangible and shared contribution to reforestation and the environment, combining celebrations and environmental responsibility to create a lasting impact.
