CAREL awarded at Host for iJF, the connected control solution for professional refrigeration
CAREL will be participating at HOST 2023, Italy’s main event in the hospitality and catering sector, showcasing the recognition received for its iJ solution, the electronic controller platform designed to meet the needs of the professional and commercial refrigeration market. The solution has in fact been awarded the 2023 SMART Label, as part of the Host Innovation Awards promoted by the organisers of the event and the Milan Polytechnic University.
The judging panel recognised first and foremost the technical features, including advanced algorithms for driving compressors with variable speed inverters that guarantee the highest refrigerated unit energy efficiency, as well as for managing temperature and humidity to ensure the best possible food display and storage conditions over time. Also appreciated was the design of its display, completely made in Italy, with curved lines recalling the classic structure of CAREL’s products, while also incorporating cutting-edge technologies such as fully customisable touch buttons. Finally, iJF has a considerable smart component, featuring advanced connectivity (NFC, Bluetooth®) for both interaction with the controller via app, and remote access to the refrigerated units through the new CAREL RED Control cloud portal.
