CAREL awarded by ELECTROLUX
Carel has been awarded by Electrolux, the multinational manufacturer of electrical appliances for professional use (over 60,000 employees and sales totalling 110 billion SEK, around 12 billion euros), as its best supplier worldwide in the "Supplier Innovation Professional" category.
This recognition is extremely important for our company, as not only were we selected among the 1% of global Electrolux suppliers as candidates for the awards (around thirty in total), but we took home the prize in category that confirms the innovative features of our refrigeration solutions.
The Carel electronic controller for Electrolux - the product the award related to - has been installed on its ecostore refrigerators, and is designed to reflect the Swedish company's environmental goals of reducing environmental impact throughout product life cycle and, at the same time, the resources and energy consumed by the refrigeration unit (from the Electrolux website: http://professional.electrolux.com/Solutions/Refrigeration/ ).
Out of the 30 candidate companies, only 12 were awarded, in the following 3 categories: Supplier Excellence, Supplier Innovation and Global Logistics.
Carel is therefore one of just 4 Electrolux suppliers worldwide to have received an award in the Supplier Innovation category.
Excellent work done by the team who have dealt with Electrolux, from design to mass production of the custom product, which we are all proud of.
