Our gift to the planet: 20 trips to the moon

Our goal is to ensure the efficiency of our customers’ units and systems, and every year we commit ourselves to achieving even better results in terms of energy savings. “Thanks to the solutions we have sold in 2019, we have saved the planet the equivalent in CO₂ emissions of 20 trips to the moon”, commented Francesco Nalini, CAREL Group CEO. “An incredible figure, especially when considering that we started out just over 45 years ago, in a small provincial northern Italian town”.

The decision to use energy produced exclusively from renewable sources at company headquarters is another step in the same direction. “We are delighted to be able to boast the Pure Energy Mark as proof of the Group’s attention to the environment”, Nalini continued. “This mark also guarantees the origin of the energy used from renewable sources, such as wind, photovoltaic, solar thermal, geothermal, hydroelectric, as well as tidal, wave motion, biogas and biomass”.
