CAREL among the Diversity project partners
For the last two years, CAREL has been working as a partner in the Diversity project, part of Horizon 2020, a broad-ranging European research and innovation project. Started in February 2015, Diversity is planned to last three years, ending in January 2018.
The project aims to develop a new cloud-based environment to support modern enterprises in the design of products and services, managing their multi-directional exchange of knowledge and dynamic feedback both internally and externally.
Through cooperation between universities and international businesses, the objective of Diversity is to offer a collaborative environment to support businesses in their product and service design. Specifically, the project’s ambition is to support those companies that are changing their business model by extending their product offering with services (PSS – Product Service System) and that are adopting the new mass-customisation paradigm. On conclusion of the project, Diversity will provide companies an innovative cloud environment and a set of methods and tools to support collaborative design of their Product Service System.
