Data centers and high efficiency

Data centers and high efficiency

Globally, data centres now cover a combined area of more than 35.7 million square metres, and that number is continuing to grow. Their environmental impact is massive, with total energy consumption calculated to be around 43.9 GW in 2014*.
In view of the continuous and unstoppable growth of data centers, above all due to the success of cloud computing, a holistic approach is needed to ensure that the units installed in data center systems save energy.

CAREL is the perfect partner in this field: with specific and detailed knowledge of the sector, CAREL can supply a complete energy saving solution. Comprising electronic controllers, monitoring systems, humidifiers, valves and inverters, the CAREL offering for data centers is the result of continuous analysis and updates.

“We have a strong presence on the data center market”, stated Enrico Boscaro, Application Manager CRAC. “Our competitive advantage comes from our knowledge of the entire system, right down to each individual component. We invest heavily in R&D and ensure that knowledge is disseminated throughout the group. Currently at HQs we are holding training sessions on data center applications. Theory, practical implementations and the latest studies and research are the basis for our continuous improvement”.
