Conela chooses CAREL for the new DEMETRA line dedicated to seed storage
CAREL has partnered with Conela Refrigeração in the development of the DEMETRA line, an innovative range of cooling units designed for the climate-controlled storage of seeds.
In the Brazilian market, where seed quality is a key factor in agricultural productivity, ensuring stable and controlled environmental conditions is essential. CAREL solutions enable temperature, humidity and air quality to be maintained within optimal parameters, preserving seed vigour and germination capacity.
The DEMETRA line integrates variable-speed BLDC compressors, Power+ inverters and ExV electronic expansion valves, all managed by the programmable c.pCO controller. This ensures precise and dynamic unit control, improving energy efficiency and system reliability. In addition, thanks to CAREL’s boss supervision system, the installation can be monitored remotely and its performance optimised over time, delivering an advanced level of service to customers.
The adoption of CAREL technologies has enabled Conela to significantly enhance the performance of its solutions, also extending the warranty period to 24 months.
