CAREL Electronic Suzhou visited by Italy’s honorary consul in Shanghai

On 3 February, Italy’s honorary consul in Shanghai, Tiziana D’angelo, visited CAREL Electronic in Suzhou together with representatives of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in China and an important delegation from the Suzhou city administration.

The city of Suzhou, linked to Italy since 1980 when it was twinned with Venice, is currently one of the main destinations for Italian investments abroad, with more than 180 companies based in the area.

CAREL Electronic has been operating in the Suzhou technological industry district for 18 years, and was recently recognised by the Jiangsu provincial government and the Suzhou government as “Regional Functional Headquarters”. This demonstrates the importance of CAREL Suzhou both as a production hub and as a centre for technical development, support and marketing management for China and the Asia-Pacific area. The China office supports the branches in India, Korea, Japan and Thailand in terms of production, technical development and marketing, as well as other distribution partners in the region. The constant growth of CAREL Electronic in the air conditioning and refrigeration markets, though innovative control solutions and an effective strategy, is the basis for CAREL Electronic being recognised as a “model for quality and efficiency” by the Suzhou High-tech Zone.
