CAREL appoints Sean Blandford as Managing Director of CAREL UK

CAREL announces the appointment of Sean Blandford as Managing Director of CAREL UK, effective from 1 April 2026.

With more than 30 years of experience in the HVAC/R industry gained across South Africa and the United Kingdom, Sean Blandford brings to CAREL extensive expertise in commercial and strategic management, together with a deep knowledge of the British heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration market. Throughout his career, Sean has held positions of increasing responsibility at major international companies in the industry, standing out for his ability to lead growth and organisational transformation initiatives within complex international environments.

Founded in 1998 to address the specific needs of the UK and Irish markets, CAREL UK is today a long-established and well-recognised presence of the CAREL Group in the region. Over the years, the subsidiary has become a trusted partner for OEMs, wholesalers, consultants, installers and HVAC/R industry professionals.
