CAREL contributes to the CDP award achieved by Coca Cola HBC AG
Coca-Cola HBC AG, the world's second largest bottler of products of The Coca-Cola Company, has been awarded an A rating by the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) – and a place in the CDP Global Climate Performance Leadership Index 2014.
They provided comprehensive information which clearly defined and quantified the risks and opportunities around climate change and resulted in a number of initiatives, including working with suppliers in introducing HFC-free coolers, meaning all new equipment will be hydrofluorocarbon (HFC)-free by 2015.
CAREL, as supplier to Coca-Cola HBC AG, was pleased to contribute to this success providing the electronic control solution designed for complete bottle cooler management.
The electronic controller features special energy saving logic and a custom look&feel, based on the best selling standard product PJEZ.
CAREL is proud of this achievement as confirmation that mutual commitment to sustainability enables continuous development of eco-friendly solutions.
