Thailand: Hecu sistema consolidates its presence at 80 new stores

The Jiffy convenience store chain – part of the PTT Retail Management group, a leader in the Thailand energy industry – has decided to undertake a substantial store innovation program.

Thanks to close cooperation between CAREL and Thermedez, a leading condensing unit and cabinet manufacturer which has recently began equipping their condensing units with SCI (Siam Compressor Industry) BLDC compressors, 80 c-stores have either been opened or revamped with the Hecu sistema solution.

One of these stores, called “Maejo”, located in Chiang-Mai, was chosen to conduct energy saving analysis: the results - 27.5% less energy consumption than with the previous technology and a return on investment of less than 18 months - allowed this solution to be validated in a geographic area that is of great interest to CAREL.

Hecu sistema is designed to meet the typical needs of convenience stores in terms of energy efficiency, lower environmental impact and lower operating costs and, thanks to real time knowledge of working conditions, allows precise temperature control, which in turn means better food preservation.

Hecu sistema is the CAREL high efficiency solution for commercial refrigeration condensing units.
Hecu sistema for HFC refrigerants is present in the market since 2014 and now it has been evolved to operate even with CO₂ refrigerant.
