Technological innovation and sharing of knowledge at Euroshop

Technological innovation and sharing of knowledge: these are the two key expressions that best interpret CAREL’s participation at the fiftieth Euroshop, Europe’s premier Retail exhibition. From 5 to 9 March, at stand 16E03 visitors will indeed be able to discover the latest news in the field of commercial refrigeration. Natural refrigerants and maximum efficiency, finally together in the same proposals on show at the exhibition.

CAREL’s presence at Euroshop however extends beyond the boundaries of its stand, through two technical presentations in hall 15E24. On Tuesday 7, Diego Malimpensa, Business Unit Manager, Retail Solutions, will speak on the ‘New frontiers for DC compressor inverters applied in water loop systems for commercial refrigeration’. During this presentation, Malimpensa will demonstrate how the synergic use of DC inverter driven compressors and electronic expansion valves jointly managed by advanced control systems can combine the typical benefits of a water loop system, such as factory-tested plug and play cabinets, flexibility and reduction in refrigerant charge/leaks, with energy efficiency, food quality improvements, control stability and preventive diagnostics.

On Wednesday 8 March, Nicola Pieretti, Application Manager, Retail Solutions, will make a presentation entitled ‘Transcritical CO2 condensing unit driven by DC inverter technology for small format stores’. Pieretti will explain in his presentation how by using DC inverter compressors it is possible to achieve the best energy performance for each load condition, reducing operating costs and increasing the quality of food preservation, with stable control and reliable operation.
