Raul Simonetti, CARELHVAC/R Corporate Business Manager, has been elected to the European Partnership for Energy and Environment (EPEE) steering committee. Simonetti takes over from Luigi Nalini, CAREL Group CEO, who has been a committee member for the past two years.
"It is a great honour for me to become a member of the EPEE steering committee", Simonetti said. "We are extremely proud to have been working with this international organisation for several years now. EPEE is at the forefront in promoting greater understanding of the HVAC/R industry in Europe and in developing European policies for the creation of a long-term agenda focused on sustainable innovation, energy efficiency and environmental care: concepts that we at CAREL feel very strongly about and that we want to keep supporting and contributing to."
The EPEE currently has 43 members, made up of associations and businesses that manufacture components, refrigeration systems, heat pumps and refrigerants and that employ more than 200,000 people across Europe, generating consolidated sales of more than 30 billion euros. An important panorama that is embodied by a solid and structured network to give voice to the needs of the industry.
