CAREL awarded at AHR Expo Innovation Awards ceremony
The AHR Expo Innovation Awards ceremony was held yesterday.
Marco Caretto, CAREL Group Head of Sales - Retail&Refrigeration, and Brandon Lane from CAREL USA, accepted the prize awarded to Heos Sistema in the refrigeration category.
Presented for the first time at the end of 2014, Heos immediately made its mark in Europe, with the first systems installed in France, Germany, Finland, Italy and Spain. In just over one year, this solution has earned the trust of supermarket chains and manufacturers around the world, with systems installed in Australia, China and the United States.
HEOS Sistema brings both economic and above all environmental benefits. The solution in fact ensures higher energy efficiency (25%), with significant savings in power consumption and CO2 emissions, improved temperature control inside the showcases for better food preservation, and a drastic reduction in total refrigerant gas charge (-80%) and leaks (-96%) when compared against traditional architecture with compressor racks.
