  • General characteristics

    The RS485 FieldBus card is used to connect the pCO sistema to devices that communicate using the CAREL proprietary protocol or Modbus RTU protocol, so as to collect information from these or send them commands.

    Modbus (modbus.org) is the most widely-used protocol in HVAC/R, being very simple to implement in all development packages and featuring limited use of the system's HW & SW resources. Reference website: Modbus.org.

    The RS485 FieldBus card is compatible with the entire range of pCOSistema controllers that feature a Fieldbus card slot: pCO1, pCO3, pCO5, pCO5+
