Organised by AICARR, the aim of the seminar is to provide up-to-date information on the market, new technologies and ideas regarding future developments in the field of compressors. The purpose of the meeting is moreover to present a complete overview of the alternatives available to designers, allowing them to make informed decisions and thus ensure increased reliability and lower environmental impact.
In 2013 there was a significant decline in the production of refrigeration units for the air-conditioning sector in Europe, and a slowing of the normal rate of growth in the rest of the world. In this difficult scenario, positive signs have come from market sectors involving units with cooling capacity modulation and heat pumps, especially in colder climates, driven by increased focus on energy consumption, even in regions such as North America and east Asia that have traditionally been less sensitive to energy issues.
The innovative features of CAREL systems will be underlined by the presence of two speakers, Biagio Lamanna, HVACR Applications, and Marco Zordan, Hardware & Firmware, who will be taking an active part in the seminar.
Lamanna's presentation, entitled "Multiplex or water loop for supermarket showcases: comparison of two solutions", will outline the performance achieved by CAREL technology in the refrigeration sector. Marco Zordan, on the other hand, will focus on compressors in a presentation entitled "Actuators for compressors in HVACR applications using permanent-magnet synchronous motors".
